Information was provided to me from a buddy at JeepTech during those days. I don\u2019t believe it ever came out in a Technical Service Bulletin.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the valve cover and turn it over. Next, remove the fluted tubes that are now facing you by removing three screws on each.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cruiser54.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Valve-cover-flute.jpg?ssl=1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-132\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cruiser54.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Valve-cover-flute.jpg?resize=221%2C166&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Valve cover flute\" width=\"221\" height=\"166\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chop 1 inch off each of them. Then,\u00a0drill a half inch hole as shown in the photo. Don\u2019t be concerned about the chintzy gaskets that will probably crumble into oblivion when you remove the fluted tubes.
